My Story

Hello:) I've had sight all my life, although it can be annoying trying to find my glasses for watching TV or my reading glasses at times. But sure, they are minor annoyances easily overcome. I'm taking part in Sightsavers' First Light for Sight Sunrise Expedition 2025, because I believe no one should go blind needlessly from Avoidable causes. Tragicly, in less fortune life situations, than mine, many are in eye pain and struggle to see, and sadly, many of those are children just starting their life journey, in already socially and politically challenging situations not of their own making.  

Sightsavers aims to address this by providing Eye Surgery and training Eye-Care Workers to provide vital treatment.
